When not researching people's family trees and bringing news of inheritance to long-lost relatives, Philip enjoys photography and art and has designed an art trail around Malaga for local arts groups. He also has plans for a photography exhibition in October.
He is also contemplating writing a book about his work as a probate genealogist as many people have suggested it to him. "I would like to write a book about the different cases I have worked on," he says.
He has endless fascinating anecdotes, which he relates in a wonderfully humorous and erudite way so a book seems like a logical next step. It is also clear to see why he has proven so popular as a speaker for The Arts Society and others.
