Two killed in avalanche in Spanish Pyrenees

Two people were killed and a third seriously injured on Thursday morning when they were caught in an avalanche in the Spanish Pyrenees. The accident happened near the popular ski region of Val de Arán in Catalonia, rescue workers said. The victims were reported to have been carrying out a survey at the time in an area with a 3 out of 5 avalanche warning.
