Student orchestra competition

There will be a parade from Calle Cristo to the Balcón de Europa on 10 March at 8pm. The different orchestras will play outside the town hall. Then on 11 March 7pm the main event, a concert by several orchestras including the Dutch orchestra University of Maastricht

Japanese violinist recital

Historical reenactment

Yunquera. 10, 11, 12 March

In the mid nineteenth century Yunquera was caught up in the rage of the defeated Naploeonic Army who set fire to the town. Over three days, more than 300 amateur actors will take part in a re-enactment of events. The town will be converted into a village of those times and there will be a food market selling local products. A bi-lingual Spanish/English tour will take visitors through historical areas of the town.

Urban Race
