Belgian group takes control of the Marbella FC

Marbella owner Alexander Grinberg has handed over control of the club to a Belgian group which has promised to invest 2.85 million euros in instalments to acquire Grinberg's majority share.

The group, headed by football agent and businessman Louis de Vries, has taken control of the club's finances, ensuring that the players get paid on time and receive their performance-related bonuses in light of Grinberg's assets being frozen following his arrest.
