Cártama remembers its medieval past with the celebration of the popular Noches de la Bella Jarifa, an event that promotes the cultural, musical and gastronomic traditions of Andalucía. Organised by the town hall, the 10th edition of the festival will be held from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 September.
The festival also incorporates the Bella Jarifa Minerals Fair (Parque Santo Cristo on Saturday 28); and the Festival Flamenco José Hurtado 'Ramoliche'. The flamenco festival will present the celebrated fandango singer, Arcángel, and local girl Vanessa Fernández: the dance will be supplied by Compañía Flamenca de La Lupi.
The flamenco is held in the Auditorio del Parque Santo Cristo on Saturday 28 September, 8.30pm.
