Rafa Gil officially appointed Malaga Academy chief

The last remaining major vacancy at Malaga CF has now been filled with the appointment of Rafa Gil as the director of the Academy.

Gil, who formally coached the the youth team before moving on to Saudi Arabia and China, returns to head up the Academy for the next two years.

His first act in the role was to appoint former Malaga captain Bravo as youth team coach. He takes up the role having left third division side Rincón de la Victoria.
