El Cueva de Nerja-UMA Under 15's win bronze at Copa de España competition
A strong performance from both male and female athletes resulted in a third-place finish for the Nerja side

The El Cueva de Nerja-UMA Under-15 side won the bronze medal in the indoor Copa de España competition in Zaragoza.
The male athletes from Nerja scored 59 points while their female teammates won 63 points in sprint, jumping, javelin and long-distance running events. Both teams ended up in third position in their own respective competition, resulting in a third-place finish on the podium overall, behind winners Playas de Castellón from Valencia and second-placed A.D. Maratón de Madrid.
Nerja's Jaime Mayor, Javier Corchero and Rafael Herrera all won their events in 300 metres, 1000 metres and triple jump respectively, while Eva Salcedo and Alba Martínez won individual golds in pole vaulting and the shot put for the women's team.
