Lorry death beach tragedy at A-7 bend in La Cala

A 58-year-old lorry driver was killed last weekend when the vehicle he was driving plunged onto the beach off the notoriously tight bend on the A-7 near Mijas Playa, in La Cala de Mijas.

The accident happened on Sunday at kilometre 202 and caused a tailback of several kilometres.
