The Gibraltar government announced on Thursday, 22 July, that it was "reluctantly" cancelling all large events scheduled to be held on government premises until September, due to the steady increase in Covid-19 cases.
The only events that are permitted are smaller, seated, ticketed events, and people attending those must be double vaccinated and have had a negative Covid test within the previous 24 hours.
On Thursday the government reported 22 new Covid cases. Eight people were in hospital with Covid, none in intensive care.
