  • Most of the women did not enjoy the recognition they deserved during their lifetimes

A new exhibition promoting pioneering women is currently on display in the Casa de los Navajas in Torremolinos. The exhibition, held under the banner of 'Mujeres Aventureras', is organised by Torremolinos town hall.

A group of 24 artists have joined forces to pay tribute to women who, throughout history, have been at the forefront of the political, scientific and cultural world.

The intention of these artists has been to focus on those women who, in most cases, did not enjoy the recognition they deserved during their lifetimes.

The exhibition, which began on Thursday (yesterday) and continues until Sunday 4 February, will combine different artistic genres, including painting, photographic, drawing and sculpture.

The exhibition is free and will be open to the public seven days a week, from 11am to 2pm, and from 6pm until 8pm.

This is the second part of collective exhibitions focusing on women entrepreneurs to be held in Torremolinos.
