Bathers on beaches in Marbella will benefit from increased lifeguard surveillance throughout the months of July and August, it has been announced.

The timetable has been extended and around 60 lifeguards will ensure safe bathing from Cabopino to Guadalmina.

Assisted bathing in place again this year

  • This summer, as was the case last summer, assisted bathing will be available on five beaches across Marbella.

  • Sessions take place from 12 to 2pm and 4 to 6pm daily on Pinomar (Las Chapas), El Faro and La Bajadilla (Marbella), La Salida (San Pedro) and El Rodeito (Nueva Andalucía). Sessions can be booked by calling 664228493 or 600481490.

A total of 16 lookout towers, bearing distinctive yellow and white, have been installed, as well as 15 rescue units, equipped with first-aid equipment.

The lifeguard service will be in operation every day from 11.30am to 8pm.
