The works in the exhibition represent different series of paintings that the Malaga artist David Sancho completed during his travels - or as a memory of them.

They include pieces from his trip to Istanbul in 2010 such as Gran Bazar and Frutos de Estambul IV and from his series on Marrakech with views of the souk and its stalls. The India series of paintings includes a great number of works including Colores de la India I, Jaipur, Colores de la India II and Bailarina con una tela estampada de fondo.

Closer to home are his works entitled Paraísos y el Jardín de la Concepción de Málaga and one on his hometown of Antequera, El Olivo de las Capuchinas.

The exhibition, which coincides with the tenth anniversary of the Sala de Exposiciones in the municipal library, runs until the beginning of September.
