Several local musicians and entertainers have joined forces to participate in a live music extravaganza to raise money for Debra, the Malaga-based charity founded with the aim of improving the lives of children who suffer from Epidermolysis bullosa, known as 'butterfly skin'.

Organised by local musician and presenter One Wish Steve, and sponsored by K and M Services, the concert will be held in the Millenium Bar in Calahonda on Saturday 30 March. Under the banner of 'A Way of Life', the event will present a night of music dedicated to the 1960s mod era and will include performances by Steve Owen, Anthony Wolfson, Debra Stacey and Maya Chewaluza, among others.

Specialist DJ Steve Goodey will keep the night swinging between acts, while members of the Los Motos Locos scooter club will show off their customised Lambrettas and Vespas to add to the ambience of the proceedings.

This is the sixth edition of the annual fundraising bash and Steve Hughes, who will host and play, has so far raised more than 12,000 euros for local charities.

Tickets cost ten euros and will be available from the Millenium Bar in Calahonda and the Debra offices in Marbella from Monday 11 February.
