Former Sporting Gijón, Barcelona and Spain striker, Enrique Castro, better known as Quini, died at the age of 68 on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack on a street close to his home. His death sparked an outpouring of emotion across the country, but especially in his native Gijón where it was announced the following day that Sporting's ground would be renamed the Estadio El Molinón-Enrique Castro Quini in his memory. During his time at Barcelona, Quini was kidnapped by ETA in March 1981. He was widely regarded as one of the country's best strikers, winning a total of seven Pichichis.
