Spain is to send more military supplies to Ukraine including an anti-missile system

The decision to send extra equipment and items coincided with Ukrainian Independence Day

Coinciding with Ukrainian Independence Day this week, the Ministry of Defence announced that Spain it is to send more weapons and supplies to Kyiv. Artillery, armoured vehicles and fully operational antimissile systems - which Spain has also offered to train Ukrainian military personnel on - are among the items to be shipped. There will also be 200 tonnes of uniforms and kit for the winter.
