King Felipe freezes his family's annual salary

The monarch will earn 253,000 euros for his public duties this year, and Queen Letizia, 140,000

King Felipe's salary for carrying out public duties will be frozen at 253,000 euros in 2021.

Queen Letizia will get 140,000 euros and the Queen Mother, Queen Sofía, 114,000 euros, also both frozen.

There is no amount this year for the King emeritus, Juan Carlos, amid ongoing financial scandals.

Total Royal household expenses will stay at 7.8m euros in 2021, with more spend on new technology.
