On Wednesday, political institutions marked the 20th anniversary of ETAs murder of Miguel Ángel Blanco, an event that rocked Spain.
The day was mired in controversy however. In Madrid, city hall was criticised for not displaying a remembrance banner and Spains parliament failed to agree on a common declaration.
