Six women have been forced to leave their jobs after refusing to wear a new uniform.
The workers at the petrol station in La Carlota, near Cordoba, had been asked by the owners to wear a miniskirt as part of the fresh look. The managers said that the women could wear leggings under the skirt if they wanted to.
Bosses at the AVIA network of filling stations, which this station is a member of, have launched an investigation, saying its formal uniform doesn’t include a skirt.
The Junta de Andalucía is providing advice to those affected.
