Málaga Metro marked a historic milestone on Tuesday, registering its 100 millionth passenger since launching in July 2014.

The landmark traveller, a regular user named Mercedes, was presented with a leisure and culture prize package.

The network, which covers 13.6 kilometres across Malaga, recorded another record in 2025 with 19.22 million passengers.
