Abrupt change in the weather with rain possible in Malaga today

Generally across the province, the maximum temperatures will not exceed 20C, except in Vélez-Málaga, according to Aemet's forecast for Wednesday, 19 April

The high temperatures experienced recently on the Costa del Sol will subside this Wednesday, 19 April, and could give way to rain in Malaga. At least in the western mountain areas of the province, where Spain’s Aemet weather agency forecasts skies with intervals of medium and high clouds that could deposit weak rainfall. This is more likely between 12 noon and 6pm, when the probability of rain is 35%, according to Aemet.

The minimum temperatures will remain much the same this April 19 but the maximums will drop. In general, the thermometers will not exceed 20C degrees in the province, with the exception of Vélez-Málaga where they will reach 23 degrees.

The winds will blow from the east, turning southwest in the morning in the Axarquía and variable in the afternoon in all areas except in the Antequera region and extreme west, where the easterly winds will remain.
