Malaga and Valencia will from 1 December be connected by a new air route operated by budget airline Ryanair. The low-cost operator has included the route as part of its new strategy to strengthen national connections following pandemic restrictions on international travel.
Flights will run three times a week between the two cities which are notoriously poorly connected. Other new national routes include: Alicante-Vitoria (twice a week); Barcelona-Lanzarote (four a week); and Palma-Jerez (two).
"With these new flights, the company continues to support regional trade and local tourism," it said.
