Insurance for foreign tourists caught out by Covid-19 while on holiday in Andalucía

The vice-president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juan Marín, announced on Thursday that from 1 January, foreign tourists arriving in the region from the principal European countries of origin will have a special coronvirus insurance provided by the authority.

This, he said, would cover all the expenses resulting from a Covid-19 infection or self-isolation obligation.

This will be a new tool to encourage international demand at a time that he admitted was "delicate and complicated for tourism".
