More buses scheduled to run from Mijas to Marbella and Fuengirola
The M122 service will run an hour longer during summer months, with the last bus leaving Mijas Pueblo at 11pm

Mijas town hall has announced that both the M122 bus which connects Fuengirola and Mijas, as well as the M220 between Fuengirola and Marbella, will run more services during the summer months.
"This is a tourist municipality and when the summer comes, the number of users increases significantly. As the local administration, we are always looking to adapt our services to suit the needs of our residents," said councillor Nuria Rodríguez.
The M122 service will run an hour longer, with the last bus leaving Mijas Pueblo at 11pm. The service will run every half an hour, starting at 7.20am in Fuengirola, from Monday to Saturday. They will be just as frequent on Sundays and holidays, but the first will leave at 8am.
With regard to the M220 which passes through La Cala de Mijas, the service will run later with the last departure from the Avenida de Mijas turn off from the A-7 in Las Lagunas (Ford roundabout) at 1.55am every day.
From Monday to Saturday, the first departure is at 7.40am, leaving every half an hour. The frequency remains the same on Sundays and holidays, but the first departure is at 8.10am.
