Marijuana found hidden in lorry of lettuces coming from Alhaurín de la Torre
The drug, on its way to Ireland, was found on the A-45 road linking Malaga to Cordoba

170 kilos of marijuana has been found hidden among twenty tonnes of lettuce in a lorry on its way from Alhaurín de la Torre to Ireland.
The operation, in which five Irish citizens were arrested, has led to the unmasking of a drug-trafficking organisation in the Malaga area, police sources said on Thursday.
The vehicle left an Alhaurín de la Torre industrial park and was stopped on the A-45 road linking Malaga to Cordoba, when the drug was found. Property searches were also carried out.
