New Carrefour to open in Antequera on Thursday

The Carrefour hypermarket chain is to open its new 6,500-square-metre store in Antequera next week.

The group took over Eroskis hypermarket in La Verónica shopping centre earlier this year and the rebranding to Carrefour is shortly to be completed.

As well as guaranteeing the jobs of the existing 58 Eroski employees, an extra 50 jobs will be created, Carrefour said.
