Pilgrims set off for El Rocío

Pilgrims from Marbella headed off to the El Rocío romería pilgrimage on Tuesday. The pilgrimage sees devotees meet at the chapel holding the Blanca Paloma (White Dove), the local name of the Vírgen del Rocío, in the village of El Rocío in Huelva. Before starting off a mass was held and Marbella mayor José Bernal gave a floral offering.
