The Palacio de Ferias and Congresos in Malaga was host last weekend to the third edition of Salón de la Moto y la Bicicleta, a popular motorcycle and bike show.
The event, which ran from Friday to Sunday, displayed more than 60 makes of vehicle as well as an extensive programme of exhibitions, competitions and test-drives.
Due to increasing market demand, the show offered an ample selection of electric motorbikes to potential buyers, including models from Lifan, Torrot, Zero, Goodyear and Askoll.
The most luxurious motorbike for sale was the Ducati 1299, priced at 100,000 euros.
Cycling enthusiasts also enjoyed a sizeable collection of non-motor bicycles.
The mayor, Francisco de la Torre, attended the opening of the event. In a speech, he highlighted the important role of electrically-powered vehicles: They are a way to contribute to reducing emissions of CO2, he said.
