Gibraltar's tourism minister, Vijay Daryanani, says Wizz Air's decision to cancel its flights during August was the result of the change of UK government policy, whereby people who have been vaccinated no longer have to quarantine when returning to UK from amber list countries.

The airline has rescheduled flights to cover demand to other destinations during the summer.

Spain is currently on England's amber list while Gibraltar remains green.
