The question posed by ITV News Europe editor, James Mates, was, "Is there a strong enough Remain contingency abroad to swing the General Election?" Among those interviewed were Christine Rowlands, the Conservatives Abroad representative on the Costa del Sol, who said that many members in Malaga are "disillusioned" with the party back home.

A number of Bremain in Spain members were also asked about their voting plans for the 12 December election.

Most of those interviewed who are still able to vote under the UK's 15-year law admitted that they would be voting tactically in an attempt oust the Conservatives and aim for a second referendum, or indeed stop Brexit altogether. The clip can be seen on the ITV News website: itv.com/news
