Alleged rape victim admits she made the story up to spite her boyfriend in Fuengirola

A young woman who claimed she was raped in Fuengirola earlier this month has admitted that she made the story up to spite her boyfriend, who hadn't paid her enough attention on an evening out.

The police are taking the matter seriously, because they were about to arrest a man who fitted the description she gave of her supposed attacker.

She said three dark-skinned burly men in djellabas had forced her into a car and one had raped her, but she was vague about where the alleged attack had taken place.
