Increased energy efficiency on the Rock
Energy consumption fell by 24.7 per cent last year, compared with 2017

Despite all the Christmas lights in Gibraltar over the festive season, energy consumption in the town area fell by 24.7 per cent last year, compared with 2017.
The Christmas illuminations now use LEDs and their consumption is 72.39 per cent lower than in 2011. Street lights are also using 20 per cent less energy than in 2012/2013.
