A fun-filled charity afternoon will be held at the Village Inn, Riviera del Sol, in aid of the Mijas Lions Club Alzheimer's Support Group tomorrow, Saturday 17 April.

Under the banner of Zingo, the "madcap" event will be hosted by two accomplished musicians known as Zing. Gillian (saxophone) and Carmine (keyboards) have performed at festivals and top venues worldwide, where they have worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Suzi Quatro and Prince.

The event will include an interactive session of zingo, a quiz game inspired by bingo, during which, the duo will perform a live concert where the playlist is controlled by the audience: participants will be able to choose songs from a catalogue of 250 diverse hits.

Those wishing to participate must register a team - a maximum of four people - by e-mail (info@msvillage.es) or by phone, 951 665 438. Due to social distancing, the event, which starts at 2.30pm, is limited to 22 teams.

Tickets cost 10 euros and includes food and a complementary drink on arrival, plus tickets for the zingo and the prize quiz.

"We have been looking to do an event like no other on the coast - and one that is reliant on the participation of our audience. We know they love to get involved so we decided to have an event where they have control," Gillian explained.
