  • A new exhibition under the banner of Painting and Connecting the Global Mind will feature nine European artists

The Excellence Art Gallery in Marbella will host the first of a series of international exhibitions planned for the new year on Saturday 4 January.

Under the banner of Painting and Connecting the Global Mind, the exhibition will feature the works of several European artists, including Paul Arts, a self-taught painter who works with oil and acrylic to produce portraits of known and unknown people.

The exhibition will also present the work of pop art specialist Consuela Buesa; abstract artist Tamara Yuriy Sweere, and the gallery's owner, Massimo Cedrini, whose love of nature and of life led him to acquire a personal and recognisable style, which incorporates female figures, animals and marine landscapes. His painting comes to life through the use of diverse techniques and natural materials from the sea, such as sand and shells.

The exhibition is free and begins at 8.30pm, when welcome cocktails will be served and visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists.

The Excellent Art Gallery, situated next to the Palacio de Congresos in Marbella, opened in 2015 and is dedicated to promoting emerging and established contemporary artists in all disciplines.
