Stages 15 and 16 of the Vuelta a España will not take place in Portugal as originally planned, organisers have said.
Because of complications caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, these stages (around Porto and Viseu) will be moved to new locations in Spain.
The tour, originally scheduled for August, will take place from 20 October to 8 November. The first three stages, due to take place in the Netherlands have been cancelled too, reducing the Vuelta to 18 stages.
