Driver injured after lorry overturns in La Cala de Mijas

A lorry overturned on the A-7 motorway in La Cala de Mijas early last Friday causing a 10-kilometre tailback and disrupting rush hour traffic. The accident happened at 4.50am when the lorry hit the central reservation and overturned and at one point the traffic stretched back as far as Fuengirola.

The driver of the truck, a 25-year-old man, was injured and taken to the Costa del Sol hospital for treatment.
