Innovative new pergola in central Torremolinos to be extended

Torremolinos town hall has announced its plans to extend the town's eye-catching new pergola so that it covers almost the entire pedestrianised central boulevard.

The Pergola Torremolinos was designed by Salvador Moreno Peralta, the architect responsible for creating the town's new look, and the decorative structure will now be extended to the Avenida Palma de Mallorca.

The aluminium covering recreates the movement of waves and has become the focal point of the redesigned Plaza Costa del Sol.

The extension will again be manufactured by Santa and Cole, who claim that the design is "so innovative that it is worth exporting to other countries in Europe and around the world".
