Malaga switches on its Christmas magic

The Christmas season has officially kicked off in Malaga with the switching on on Friday evening of the city's lights, including the spectacular music show in the main shopping street.

For the third year running the tunnel of lights runs the length of Calle Larios which from now until 6 January will become a giant arena for a music and light show three times every evening (6.30, 8 and 9.30pm).

The street was packed for the opening performance on Friday when the entertainment included live music and children's activities.

This year the light show is accompanied by music from Café Quijano, Rondo Veneziano and Raúl Charlo.
