Rare Chucky doll, valued at 1,000 euros, returned after theft

A collectable doll, one of only 100 made to coincide with the launch of the Chucky film in 1989, was stolen from a computer repair shop in Malaga last Friday.

However, thanks to CCTV images which caught a man grabbing the doll and giving it to a woman who put it in her bag, as well as a campaign launched by SUR, the doll, valued at 1,000 euros, has been returned.

Its owner, César Gil, explained that the doll was dropped off at a roast chicken shop nextdoor, probably as a result of the CCTV images being shared. "In any case, I'm pleased it's back as it is a collectable and this incident has probably seen it increase in value".
