Property boom continues on Mijas Costa with developers reporting good sales

CLC World Resorts & Hotels has announced that it has sold 90 per cent of its new development, Santa Barbara Heights.

The news comes as the Mijas Costa area in general is enjoying a period of growth and new development, which is also helping to boost funds at Mijas council.

CLC World, which employs some 1,000 people, is investing 17 million euros on the luxury real estate project of 50 two and three bedroom apartments. Most of the buyers are from other countries, especially Scandinavia.

Elsewhere on Mijas Costa, the Jardines de Las Lagunas development by Bekinsa will see 600 new homes and 125 million is already being spent on Taylor Wimpey's La Cala Golf extension.
