A fast-growing software outsourcing and IT support firm has recently moved to larger premises on Malaga's PTA technology business park and has now reached 400 employees at its Costa base.
Ciklum, a Ukrainian-based company backed by Danish and US investors, opened local offices on the PTA in 2016 with around 100 employees. At the time it promised to reach 1,000 in Malaga and is now a long way towards that target. To cope with the increased headcount, the company has moved to space in a second building, which it recently opened.
Ciklum originally began to grow out of its Kiev base after troubles between Russian and Ukraine and now has operations in several countries.
The company provides an outsourcing service for the development of software and applications for its customers, saving them the costs of maintaining their own staff.
The business development director for Ciklum España, Olga Ruiz, commenting on the continued expansion, said, "After two years in Malaga we're perfectly equipped to strengthen our presence in Spain."
