More job vacancies as Carrefour takes up place in Miramar

Monday saw the start of renovations to the hypermarket in the Miramar shopping centre in Fuengirola. Previously Eroski, the store will reopen as a Carrefour on 23 February.

Despite changing hands, Carrefour has stated that not only will it retain the 98 employees previously working in the Eroski store, but they will also hire a further 40 workers taken on through an agency.

The new staff will be spread throughout all departments and will receive 50 hours of training beforehand.
