Wizz Air discontinues Luton route

The airline Wizz Air has announced that, after talks with the Gibraltar government, it has decided not to continue operating its flights between the Rock and Luton. Describing this as having been a "difficult decision" to make, the company said in a statement that it was due to uncertainty over the Covid-19 pandemic and that it is keen to resume services to Gibraltar as soon as it makes business sense.
