The Costa del Sol is getting ready to celebrate All Hallows Eve, the night when disembodied spirits walk the earth. Children and grown ups will be busy preparing their fancy dress costumes ready for the string of events organised by local councils and organisations.

Torremolinos will host a Halloween party with a broad agenda of activities taking place in the Molino de Inca Botanical Gardens and Plaza La Nogalera.

The main Halloween party will be staged in the Plaza La Nogalera on Wednesday 31 October. The activities will begin with a fancy dress parade at 5pm, followed by the children's fancy dress competition, but the main attraction will be a spooky passage of terror, which will be installed in the square.

There will also be a performance of zany children's rock band, Quimirock, and popular local groups, Electrogoblins and the Money Makers.

The ARCH foundation will celebrate the scariest night of the year with a fancy dress gala dinner in the Peña Asfahal in Alhaurín El Grande. Tickets for the event, which will present the 'Mistress of Motown', Tina T, cost 25 euros and includes a three-course dinner served by rocky-horror waiters. All proceeds will go to ARCH.

A fancy dress parade, a flash mob, children's theatre and a passage of terror are some of the activities planned for the Halloween celebrations in Torre del Mar. The festivities will be held in the Calle del Mar from 7.30pm on Wednesday 31 October.

Marbella will host the Monster Tapas Festival on All Hallows Eve and All Saints Day, while Bioparc in Fuengirola will host a day of fun and terrifying activities from 11am on Thursday 1 November.
