Right-back Iván signs contract extension until 2022

Young right-back Iván Rodríguez has signed a contract extension with Malaga until the end of the 2021-22 season, the club has announced.

The 22-year-old, who came through the academy, has become and integral part of the squad this season, deputising for the injured Cifu for the last eight league games.

His contract was due to expire in the summer but he has been rewarded for his performances with a three-year extension.
