One of the rubbish tips in Casares is to be sealed
The operation will cost around 2.4m euros

Over 2.4m euros is to be spent sealing one of two open rubbish landfills near Casares.
The tips are used by councils on the western Costa and the one to be sealed started being used in 2002 and is now full, with an estimated 1.2m tonnes of waste having being dumped there.
One remaining tip will stay open.
