Drugs found in car of Brit who fled police in San Pedro
Seventeen kilos of marihuana were found in his rented Hyundai vehicle

Police have arrested a British man, having discovered 17 kilos of marihuana in his rented Hyundai vehicle, following a car chase in Marbella.
Officers began to pursue the vehicle when, during a routine traffic control at the Las Petunias roundabout in San Pedro Alcántara, the driver accelerated away instead of coming to a stop.
The chase came to an end when the Hyundai crashed into another vehicle by the San Pedro football pitch and overturned. The driver, bleeding, fled the scene, but was quickly found and arrested.
