Agreement reached to repair old Istán road

An agreement has been reached between Marbella town hall and the Junta de Andalucía to jointly fund much-needed repairs to the Carretera de Istán, between the Puente Romano hotel and the Manolo Santana Racquets Club.

A plan to repair the road, which the council says poses a risk to public safety (it is too narrow and lacks a pavement and lighting), will be drawn up this year.
