Vélez-Málaga company launches own hummus

Vélez-Málaga based company Avomix, which is owned by the Reyes Gutiérrez group, has used the Fruit Attraction fair in Madrid to launch its new line of hummus.

The company is behind products such as mango sauce and guacamole which are already sold widely in supermarkets including Mercadona and Lidl across Spain.

A spokesperson for the company said that they are in talks with food retailers in and around the Madrid area with a view to start selling the hummus, which they say, does not contain additives.
