Marbella accused of failed dog beach promise

A councillor for the IU party on Marbella council has accused the town hall of failing to keep its promise to install proper facilities at two beaches that were designated for use by dogs last year. Miguel Díaz has said the planned showers, exercise areas and shady zones for pets haven't materialised.

In reply the council has said that it is waiting for the plans to improve the beaches, at El Pinillo and Ventura, to be approved by the Junta de Andalucía regional government.
