Woman in critical state after cooking-pot attack

A woman is in a critical condition after allegedly being hit over the head by her partner with a cooking pot.

The 65-year-old victim has suffered a fractured skull and a brain haemorrhage after the attack.

The woman was operated on Tuesday afternoon and the supposed aggressor has been detained.

The attack took place on Calle Venus in the Sun Beach area.
